The Montague Centre consists of eleven shop units with the units laid out in a terrace and forming part of a pedestrianised retail parade. The majority of the exterior to the front of the units is under a glazed roof with the remainder benefiting from a glazed canopy, which creates a shopping centre feel. Opposite the scheme is Beales department store and McDonalds. Worthing is the largest town in West Sussex, and is strategically located on the south coast some 55 miles (88 km) south of London, 10 miles (16 km) to the west of Brighton and 13 miles (21 km) to the east of Bognor Regis.
