This Leisure and Retail development was built on a 40 acre site within the Cheshire Oaks master-planned area at Ellesmere Port. The area has a high ecological value. Planning and construction was sensitive to the ensuing requirements. To accommodate the protected greater crested newts, which live on the site, a 20 metre environmental strip was constructed around the perimeter. Boxes were also constructed to accommodate the many rare birds nesting here.
