Paddington Waterside is one of London’s new premier commercial, residential and leisure quarters. Covering an area the size of Soho, the mixed-use location benefits from the stunning waterspace of the Grand Union Canal and unrivalled national and international transport links. As one of London’s Opportunity Areas, Paddington continues to be the largest development area within the City of Westminster, and is already home to major national and global headquarters. Over ten separate development schemes across 80 acres make up Paddington Waterside, with a development period spanning more than 20 years.Since 1998 when Paddington Waterside Partnership was launched, more than 2 million sq ft of commercial space has been delivered, bringing in excess of 17,000 employees to Paddington. A further 1.4 million sq ft is in the pipeline. More than 1,100 residential units have been completed, with a further 1,200 in the pipeline. Paddington Waterside is set to see over 30,000 people working here. Investment to date tops £2 billion.
