Farnborough Aerospace Business Park
This prestigious Business Park is adjacent to the south side of Farnborough International Airport. Most of the buildings are occupied by BAE Systems and form the companys headquarters. The business park was built by Arlington Securities for its then parent British Aerospace between 1990 and 1992. When British Aerospace merged with Marconi Electronic Systems to form BAE Systems, the Farnborough site remained the headquarters for the enlarged company. BAEs board meets in London. Farnborough town centre is approximately 2 miles to the north, which provides a wide range of shopping and leisure facilities. Farnborough Main station is approximately 2 miles away and provides fast and frequent services to London Waterloo with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes. There is also a shuttle bus service from Aerospace Business Park to Farnborough Town Centre and Farnborough Main Station.
